Meet the Family
Whitham family is an avant-garde creative trio. Based in LA, they specialize in experimental comedy, independent film, fine art, and live theatrical performance.
Their combined work is a breathtaking tapestry of films, art, sculpture, experimental television, and boundary-defying theatrical performance that ignites the imagination.
April and Jared dreamed up Whithamworks as their magical umbrella—one that floats above their family’s wildest ambitions, showers their projects with possibility, and shelters a world where creativity can play and flourish.
At the heart of their creative adventures is Whitham Works Studios, their magical live/work haven in East Hollywood—where ideas spark, laughter echoes, and every day brims with artistic possibility.
WhithamWorks Studios is an art house—a vibrant working artist studio and the creative home of WhithamWorks, located in the heart of Hollywood. In this inspiring space, artists live, work, and bring bold ideas to life, all within an environment designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
Serving as the administrative headquarters and the living, working heart of WhithamWorks, this dynamic studio is much more than a private space—it's a true home for artists. Here, resident and visiting creatives collaborate daily, shaping the future of entertainment and the arts together.
WhithamWorks Studios also transforms into an electrifying private venue, hosting film screenings, live performances, Puppet Camp, and hands-on workshops. These events are designed to ignite inspiration, nurture emerging talent, and cultivate the next generation of creative pioneers within our artist community.
Looking to the future, WhithamWorks Studios envisions creating the WhithamWorks Theater—a monumental, transportable sculpture that houses a state-of-the-art performance space. Plans also include an enchanting outdoor gallery and a vibrant, imaginative tea house, adding new dimensions to our creative campus.
These bold dreams are becoming reality thanks to the unwavering support of our dedicated patrons, who empower us to bring imagination to life, one inspired vision at a time.
